My wife had bi lateral breast cancer about 6 years ago and she was given the all clear about 4 years ago, she underwent chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery, over the past few months she had been suffering with sciatic pain in her legs and lower back, and more recently has been suffering with stomach cramps, sickness and diarrhea on and off. She had xrays for the sciatica and nothing was found, and underwent blood and feaces tests for the other problems, the faeces test came back normal and no signs of cancer, the blood tests came back showing she had low folate levels and low haemoglobin levels. Yesterday she went for a CT scan and today had a phone call to say she had a mass in her stomach and on her bones, they didn't specify which bones and told her she would get an appointment for further tests within the next 2 weeks. Now first thing we think of is the cancer is back, is this likely to be the case or could it be something else.
