i completely understand how ur feeling. have you got an appointment date yet?
I felt exactly the same - the consultant checked my neck and put a camera down my nose to see my throat and windpipe etc and then I had a scan. Try not to worry but make sure you take a list of questions with you and also someone with you too if you are allowed. Wishing u all the best.
