Multiple lymph nodes or lumps??

I'm a 19 year old- almost 20 female and around the 24th of March this year my ear piercing on the left side got infected and I felt a lump underneath my earlobe and kind of under the jaw and it felt quite hard and I had a sore throat and it was sore for about 2 days after the piercing healed the lump stayed there painless and kind of non moveable but I could pinch it with my fingers and it wasn't big enough to be visible but I forgot about it and then I have lower belly cramps similar to period pains and I did at home wee test strip which indicated I had a possible UTI or kidney infection and I had a very high ph balance which I kind of knew I had a UTI and think I have for a few years now as I had very strong foul smelling wee but put it down to be dehydrated as I don't drink as much water as I should but I phoned the doctors and was put onto anitobotics for the UTI and after taking them my wee was clear and no longer foul smelling , in the time I had those cramps I noticed I had some swollen lymph nodes in my groin but they didn't hurt but was moveable and didn't go away after the antibiotics. I went to the doctors about the lumps and she wasn't concerned about the one in my neck but was about the ones in my groin and suggested I do a std swab which I did and it came back clear but I didn't suspect I could have a std as I have a long term boyfriend even though they doesn't rule it out completely , I also did have thrush for about a month and it was quite bad and spread to my bottom area and my skin was quite red and raw and even cracked and bled and I left that untreated but cleared up eventually so that is 2 infections I have had which could of caused the groin lymph nodes / lumps but doesn't explain why I've still got them. Anyway, today I noticed my one collar bone didn't seem as noticeable as usual and I'm very slim, I am 5ft and around 47kg so I know lymph nodes can be more easier felt if you're slim but when I tense my collar bones and feel in the gap on the right one I felt a small moveable lump underneath my collarbone and I could move it from the bottom of my collarbone and up the surface, this has worried me a lot and with suffering with anxiety ( I have never been diagnosed ) but I have suffered for quite a long time now and never reached out because I'm not sure how being diagnosed would help me because I can't help but worry excessively - especially when it comes to my health I always assume the worst , I did have a blood test and it came back that I have large red blood cells and I need to take another blood test so my next one is the 16th March and my doctors appointment about my lumps is the 18th of March but I didn't mention the collar bone lump as I only felt this tonight and I had my telephone call with the doctor this morning. I haven't really had no symptoms , I have woke up hot / sweating once and that was because I had my little sister in bed with me and all over me in the night which had made me hot and I do feel tired a lot of the time but I have a poor sleep sechulde since being in lockdown and unemployed so I stay up most of the the night and now that my siblings are back at school I've been having to get up early which means I've only had about 4 hours of sleep so that would explain the fatigue. I have had jaw pain in the left side where the lump was under my ear the past week and I thought my wisdom teeth might have been coming through as the gum became inflamed but went down after a few days but the jaw pain still remains when I open my mouth and I've had some back pain and tension in my neck and the back of my neck. I'm so worried I feel like I have too many lumps or lymph nodes for this not to be serious and I'm convinced I have cancer. Has anyone else been through anything similar ?

  • Hey!! So I think definitely mention all of this at your telephone appointment tomorrow. I think you have obviously had a lot of infections in such a short space of time. I think take the fact you don't have any other symptoms is such a good thing but even if you do it could still be nothing! I am 22 and have alot of classic lymphoma symptoms but any appointments I have had seemed to indicate they are just reactive nodes. I haven't had nodes up in my collarbone but I do have a decent aching pain there that radiates up to my neck. I have 2 lumps in my neck that I have had since the start of January but had an ultrasound today and was told its nothing sinister. I know its so so hard not to worry but try not to! I think it may just be your bodies normal reaction to infections. The fact you have had multiple so close together may just mean the nodes just need a little more time to go down. Xx

  • Hi, Thankyou for replying this had made me feel more at ease but still worried sick. I have been worried non stop now since October from other reasons and now having all this I don't know if it could just be a bit of stress and the infections I've had. Was your lumps hard or soft? If you don't mind me asking please xx
