Welcome to the forum P78 although I'm sorry that your partner may be dealing with pancreatic cancer for a second time.
I can't begin to imagine how you're both feeling at the moment but I'm glad you've joined the Cancer Chat community as you'll find many of our members will understand what you're going through having had similar experiences themselves and I'm sure some of them will be along soon to offer their support and advice.
If either of you would like to talk things through with one of our cancer nurses they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.
We're thinking of you P78 and will be hoping for a good outcome.
Kind regards,

Thank you for the reply. I welcome any advice or experiences. I'm the one who needs to Know everything, my partner doesn't want to know after his experience 5 years ago.
Hes not ill all the time but has days where he can be unwell. His whites of his eyes are going yellow now and hes always tired.
Hopefully not long now till a appointment for his CT scan. It will be a week tomorrow from his phone call that he needs one so fingers crossed it won't be long.
Its a very worrying time.
Just a quick update. A letter came today and the want my partner to go for a MRI scan on the 28th of this month. I'm a little angry as its so far away.
Is this normal?
Hello again P78,
Many hospitals are being affected by the pandemic at the moment so this could be one reason why the MRI is on the 28th but if you're concerned it may be worth getting in touch with your partner's GP or the department carrying out the MRI. If your partner is willing to take any cancellations that come up you could make them aware of this as it may help your partner get seen a little bit earlier.
I'm sorry I can't be of more help but as I mentioned in my previous post, our lovely team of cancer nurses are available if you'd like to get their thoughts and advice on this.
Kind regards,
Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
I know but its stressful waiting. Thank you and I will get him to ring his GP and see if there is any cancellation.
I will give the team a call soon as its good to talk to people about this as I'm trying to be strong.
My partner had a MRI over a week ago now. Still waiting on results.
He seems better in himself at the moment so I'm not sure if I'm worrying over nothing.
