I can only tell you about my appointment as with covid things may be different ... I had a chat with the nurse .. then a mamorgram.... after that a breast ultra sound ... then a biopsy taken of lump ... the biopsy was a bit like when you get ears pierced a sharp pin and a second of pain then o.k ...
I went for a nice Costa coffee after ... it's not a walk in the park but it's not too bad either ... but I would advise to take someone with you ... even if they have to wait in car .... well I've had 5 of them all together... and the first four were fine ... so I've been told 8.5 out of ten lumps are benign.... so keep that in mind ... fingers crossed for a good result.....
