Worried, still waiting for breast clinic appt in Ireland

Hi all hope u are keeping well,

So I went to my gp 6 months ago with lump in left breast he reffered me to early breast clinic as priority due to symptoms and family history I still have not received an appointment. I was back in GPS on Thursday as under my left armpit is very sore gp said he can feel lump in left breast and thought maybe armpit pain was related to muscle rather than breast he percribed inflammation tablets but I'm absolutely bricking it now I have pain in my left lung aswel I'm only 30 could I possibly over worrying and over thinking it all. Service in Ireland is dreadful has anyone else had same symptoms and it's been nothing??

Hi there ...
I'd deff phone and find out why you've not been seen in breast clinic ... think you've fallen through the cracks ... esp now 6 months later and you've still got issues ... every lump should be tested ..so be firm and say you want that appointment A S A P
Saying that, please know that 8.5 out of ten lumps are benign ... my first floor call backs from mamorgrams over the years were fine.... but don't leave it ... better to know for sure then stay in the dark .. good luck and fingers crossed for a good result .... Chrissie....

Hi thanks for your reply yes my gp is following it up and trying to push them on to get it done quick. Yeah I'm trying my best not to worry but its a little hard because of big family history and the fact it's going on over 6 months now and I have a young family 4 kids 3 of which are special needs
