Hi.
Just like to know if this rings any bells.
In Jan started having mucus with blood either wrapped around stool or passing mucus, jelly like with the dark Red blood, not sure if that mixed in the jelly. But it only happened once aweek. Kept a diary.
To see if running daily was causing problems, I try to drink during the day.
End of Jan blood test OK had stool sample sent off as was sent kit age 58.
Forgot about chasing this up, as partner ill. Then out the blue had hospital call for a call next week, normally would go in. Spoke to my Dr who said the blood count higher? so would probably look at a camera. In Feb. Due to worry about partner, stopped my running and suddenly no problems.!!
This week had 2 minor examples of blood mucus a lot less and the feelin after was less intense cleared quicker than in Jan. My Dr thinks that if inflammation this can cause bleeding and they will check for bowel cancer due to age. I not had any drops of blood in the toilet, but worried about not knowing or understanding how mucus works. Does anyone have any ideas before I have my call on weds. If not covid I would be going into discuss. Does itt sound like a camera check? To start with. Any advice would be useful.
