Can someone please tell me the process of a biopsy? I am having an ultrasound with possible biopsy on Tuesday and would like to understand the process of having one. If I do have one it'll be on the glands in my neck.
Had an ultrasound this morning and was told nothing looks sinister and so a biopsy was not done. As much as I am glad to hear this news, it doesnt get me any closer to an answer for my symptoms especially when they seem to get worse and not better. xx
Hey lovely, glad your scan went okay and nothing serious was found. I understand the frustration though with still not being any closer to getting an answer. Will you go back to the GP now for further investigation? The hospital just called me today to book in my ultrasound and biopsy if needed for the 19th March, that was the earliest appointment they could do! X
Jld21 - I went to see my dr to discuss my results two days ago, everything seemed fine apart from a higher lymphocyte count, although he said he wasn't worried about this as he thinks it might be due to an infection, and he's gonna try and get me in for a scan ASAP.
However, now I'm getting twitches in my right eyelid and eyebrow, honestly it's one thing after the other, but I booked an appointment in specsabers to see what it could be.
