MRI results

Hey everyone, 

 

I had an MRI at my local hospital which found A tumor  4.9 x 2.9 x 2.5 cm in size,  to the right psoas and along the lumbosacral plexus  - L5  and they decided I needed to be referred to London, I have had another MRI and within 4 days I've had a call saying I need to call regarding results they have.  is this bad news or am I overthinking everything

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I can imagine this is a very anxious time for you. It's difficult to tell what it all means and the only way to find out really what is going on is to ring them and ask whether they can tell you more about these results they have. In the meantime, try and keep busy and focused on every day tasks and avoid looking anything up online as this will only make you feel more anxious. I know it's easier said than done though.

    It won't be long though now before you get some definite answers and I am keeping everything crossed for you that everything turns out fine.

    I hope you are coping with the wait. It sounds very stressful. Just wanted to say I've got everything crossed that whatever the news is it will be manageable. It's hard not to try to read things into the way news is delivered but things won't be certain till you actually have a discussion with the doctors. I keep hunting for reassurance too waiting on tests. It's horrible. Keep us up to date.
