When I was referred to hospital my appointment came in two weeks !!
At the hospital they did all the tests required eg memogram, ultrasound scan they found very small lump and ultrasound scan confirmed that it was cancers cells !! Then they did the biopsy same day
Also they booked provisional date for surgery as well and also told me I will need MRI scan to make sure i don't have another lump /spread anywhere else
Scan date came in a week and luckly it wasn't spread anywhere else
So at the hospital they will examine you then will do the memogram and probably do the ultra scan then lump may not be cancer so don't worry !!
