Inverted nipple

Hello everyone,

about 3 weeks ago (ish) when I took my bra off I noticed the my nipple was sunk. Not the whole nipple just in the middle; the only way I could describe it was there was a hole. It's still the same now. The only thing that's kind of keeping me sane is that if I touch it or massage it or if I am cold it pops right back out. I mean could these still mean breast cancer? I do have an appointment with the nurse on Wednesday for my smear and was going to ask her for her opinion, but also wanted to see if anybody had anything similar and it turn out to be ok? Thankyou for reading x

  • You know I have been looking up the difference between tiredness and fatigue, only because I have been feeling tired recently, like I would say the last week more so, with the lockdown I was being a right lazy cow, homeschooling would be the only thing I done, housework was a no no. But last week I stepped up my game and spent the whole week keeping on top of things, except the homeschooling haha. This week especially today, I have really struggled to get out of bed in the morning, and today I just can't be bothered to do anything, I really wanted to nap but my 1 year old had other ideas, once I'd finally got up and done dinner and ate again I felt fine. Not sure if I'm overthinking this or not. I got to bed at about 10 and sleep around 11.30, have been trying to get myself into a routine to get up on time ready for school next week and it just hasn't worked lol. Xx

  • To be fair home schooling would tire anybody out, I work for the nhs so have been able to keep my 9yr old in full time thank god, hats off to all the parents who have stuck to it roll on Monday !!!

  • That's true, homeschooling an 8 year old who doesn't want to do it. A 4 year old who just sits in the Nintendo switch all day and a 1 year old that doesn't want me to do anything but hold her or she will scream the house down probably the reason I am tired! Lol. oh how lovely to be a part of the nhs, although in a pandemic probably not quite as nice. I agree, I certainly haven't stuck to it everyday haha xx

  • Hiya,

had my cervical screening this afternoon, spoke to the nurse about my breast, was lucky really because she actually asked me if I check my breasts regularly. So she had a look and it looks normal, which is typical, she had a feel too and said there is no concern and to keep and eye and if it does start to get worse or more symptoms arise then to go to the doctor. So will just keep an eye for now. Hope you are ok x

  • Hi Nicky, how are you?

whilst doing my breast checks I found a pea size lump behind my nipple, but on the other breast? Has made me a tad worried. I have just come off my period so unsure if it's there for that reason. I don't think I have noticed it before. It feels hard I think, unsure if it moves and painless. That nipple is pierced and has always been a bit crusty and sometimes gives off a quick pain every now and then. I think I'm trying to think of excuses of what it could be x
