Mum is finally scheduled for a CT scan of abdomen and pelvis with contrast on Monday afternoon. She’s been told not to eat for a couple of hours beforehand and that she will likely have to drink a contrast and have an injection too. Will they still be able to detect any cancer or other abnormality if she’s constipated?
