Hi,
I recently attended my GP with breast pain and thought it would be 'nothing'. After examining me she told me she found a lump and would refer me to the hospital. I can't feel a lump and it shook me up that she did find one. Has anyone else got experience of this?
Well meaning friends have told me that breast pain normally means it's not cancer (I've no idea if that's true) and that because I'm young I will be fine. (I'm 37 with three family members who were diagnosed late 30s/40s). I know they're trying to help but it's frustrating and I think it's adding to my stress.
I have my clinic appointment on Saturday so in 48hours I should know more. Any tips on reducing stress & worry, and tips on sleeping, would be much appreciated.
