Worried 40 year old

Good Morning . I have my appointment at Breast Clinic tomorrow was referred us urgent as i found a large lump & a smaller one also .This weeks been hell & I feel there's worse to come .. I only had to wait 2 weeks for my appointment which makes me think the Dr knows it's serious. Im so nervous . .. i have my Mammagram first then appointment with consultant straight after .I phoned today to see if I could take my aunt in for consultantation.  The receptionist says it should be OK.  I'm trying to prepare myself for the worst & hoping for the best . .. I just hate the thought of having to tell kids & family if it is BC .x

    Hello Sabrina79,

    I just wanted to welcome you to our forum. By now you will have had your breast clinic appointment and I just wanted to check that everything went ok for you yesterday? I hope it helped you to have your aunt by your side during the consultation. 

    I know it is really hard but try not to worry too much or anticipate what it might be. The best thing to do to avoid thinking too much about this is to keep busy and distracted while you are waiting to find out more if you can and avoid looking things up online. I can imagine it is hard for you to do this at the moment but it will help you feel a little less anxious. 

    I hope you will also hear from others here who have been through all this before and that they will be along soon to share their story with you. 

    Keeping everything crossed for you that everything turns out fine.
