Breast dimple and Mis shaped

I'm 28 and trying on a new bra, and my mum noticed a dimple in my left breast, (under side part), when I lifted my arm to look I noticed it's miss shaped than usual, we have high breast cancer in the family and she's worried, but I have lumpy breasts anyway so I don't know if I feeling new lumps or old ones I don't know, do you think I should just get this seen? Xx

    Hello Shaunamarie, 

    I think it wouldn't hurt to get this looked at so your mum is right it's probably best to make an appointment with your GP to get this seen. Your doctor will be in the best position to tell you what this breast dimple might be. Any breast changes it's always safest to go and get this checked out. 

    I hope all goes well with your appointment and that it ends up being nothing to worry about!
