So I've notched this dark brown smudge on my big toenail I've had it for the past 3 weeks, my nail isn't yellow or thickening and there isn't any pain, also there's been no injury to my toe to cause this.  Today I had a phone appointment with a nurse I had to send photos of my toe and she replied with 'I'm baffled I'm going to have to get the other doctors to check this and get back to you ASAP with what to do next'. There's been no injury to my toe and I'm absolutely petrified I'm 25 and I have 2 young children, I'm just looking for advice.
