Hi there I've just come across your post and I really hope you're OK as I couldn't find an update?

I had a tongue biopsy on the 4th November and got the results three days ago - all clear.

Around 10 weeks ago holes of various sizes kept appearing all over my tongue and I went to the dentist thinking I'd bitten it. One look and the dentist said I'm not going to lie, I really don't like the look of this and it's no way your teeth.

I've been referred to loads of maxillo facial specialists and had the all clear results from the biopsy back. This specialist was absolutely convinced I was biting my tongue every night. I told him that there's no blood when I wake up and told him that I was getting them at the back of my throat and right under my tongue! He still stuck with his biting theory!? That was 18 days ago and I'm now wondering after reading your post if I could ask for a second one too? 

No Bites/ulcers...anything??!! Still look the same 10 weeks later with new holes appearing constantly. I'm just unconvinced I've been biting my tongue and some of the places are physically impossible.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to deflect off your worries but a problem shared is a problem halved.
