After my smear test

Hi all I have just spoken to my doctor and she said she found an area of the cervix that looks unusual and if there is a small lesion that could be removed she didn't want to take any chances and il be seeing a gynaecologist and having a scan within 2 weeks the waiting is awful, I'm thinking of you all that have your appointments today and praying that all comes back clear x

I know how difficult the waiting and uncertainty is so I hope the appointment comes around soon.

Hi Ben thankyou so much for your message I really appreciate it I'm slowly finding my way around this chat as I'm not very good online but I've got my appointment at the hospital with a gynaecologist Monday at 10am so I'm pleased I haven't got to long to wait do you no if they will tell me right away

Hi Weeza,
That's good to hear. They may give you some indication but more than likely you will have to wait a little while longer after Monday for results and will get an opportunity to discuss them with your doctor.
