Hi everyone,

I had my routine smear 15th January, 3rd February recieved a letter in the post for a colposcopy appointment closely followed by my smear results. They said the sample was HPV positive and that I had severe dyskaryosis.

Colposcopy was 9th February, the doctor said she could see what she thinks is CIN 3 which is what they were expecting so biopsy was take and had LLETZ the same day. Told I would get the results in about 4 weeks unless they have seen something that needs to be discussed sooner.

Almost 2 weeks into the 4 week wait and every time my phone rings or the post comes I'm really anxious!

A few days after my LLETZ the doctor had sent my gp surgery an overview of what she had seen and the treatment I have had.

No idea what the notes mean but I think that's making me more nervous!

The notes said:- TZ type 1 and SCG fully seen. area of acetowhite in the lower lip between the 5 and 6 o'clock position with some punctuations.

I don't know if anyone can shed some light on what this means? Or have any of you been through the same as me?
