Have you had your Colposcopy yet? How did it go x

I haven't had my colposcopy yet I got a letter last week to say I am in an outpatient waiting list and they are basically having to decide on which appointments are more important than others so looks like I will be waiting a while.

having a horrible time of it with anxiety just waiting for the appointment and feeling it's getting worse in the meantime.

Hi Holly, 

Colposcopy was fine, very painless. The doctor took a few biopsy's and said she thinks I will need to come back in to have the cells burnt away. I can't remember the correct name, just waiting on the results of biopsy, they have advised me not to worry so I'm just staying positive. How are you?
