I am sorry to hear about the dent on your breast. I lost my Mum to breast cancer and remember just how frightened I was when I was waiting to be diagnosed 11 years ago. I imagine that you must be feeling the same when both your Mum and your sister have been smitten. I hope that they are both keeping well now.

Do you know whether your referral has been made under the two-week pathway or under a routine referral? Most of us get seen within two weeks, although it can take a little longer in some parts of the country due to the current pandemic.

I sincerely hope that nothing untoward is found. Do please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.

Sorry to hear about your concerns about your breast.  You have done the right thing going to your Dr. 

I had exactly the same thing a dent in my right breast but I also could feel a lump in that area too.  My dent was also only noticeable when I lay down too.  Mine was more noticeable when Iay flat. 

It is a  very worrying time for you especially with your family history but stay positive. 

Unfortunately mine did turn out to be breast cancer but like I said I also had a lump in the same area.  The lump I could feel was also quite big.

My prognosis is really good, hopefully yours will turn out to be nothing but stay positive the good thing is you check yourself regularly and have seen your gp as soon as you noticed a change.

I don’t know gp never said just said she is referring me to breast clinic but will ring gp in the morning to find out how long I will keep you informed 

Hi sue yeah mine is the same when I’m lay flat but the ok can’t feel any lumps as I have felt round my breast my mind is all over the place at the moment thinking the worst but I’m trying to stay positive too I will let you know
