Help....I'm panicking. This is the 3rd smear test I've had.

the first 2 have been completely fine. No problems.

this one has came back no changes in cells but positive for HPV.

ive been with my partner for 10 years...how can this happen?

ive also just had a baby and had the smear done when my baby was 5months old, could this be a factor?

im just so confused as I've never had this before and had lots of blood test, given birth etc. And this has come up?

I have just been asked to go back after a year for another smear.
