My son in law had an MRI scan last week as he has had difficulty swallowing for some time . He had a call from the consultant this week saying that it showed 'something' and he will need a biopsy . The consultant has said ' hopefully it will be quick but could be up to three months ' Is this a reasonable time to wait bearing in mind he has had the problem for at least nine months
