Enlarged lymph node mum died of cancer recently

I'm probably being ridiculous but I have had what feels like a possibly enlarged lymph node left side of the neck. I'm mega paranoid after losing my mum last July.

I have a blood test booked and been referred for ultrasound on my neck. My partner was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2018 and my gran died of cancer December 19 and to be honest there was a lot of misdiagnosis prior to the correct diagnosis for all 3 people.
I know that it needs investigation but I literally can't settle at all.

has anyone else experienced swollen lymph nodes in this area?

hope you are well

i feel your concern as I too have had history with family dying of cancer and it does give you a horrible fear of it. I recently had bloods done as I was feeling tired sweating and swollen lymph nodes and a lump on my jaw bloods came back normal but one test they done caused concern and they have referred me to a haematologist do you have any experience with this? I will keep you updated will you keep me updated?

Hi I've had experience of haematology from my partner having blood cancer. When are you being seen?
I'll definitely keep you posted and I'll check in on you xx
if you can find out what is abnormal in your bloods. I do work in health care so I'll help you as much as I can
I'm just constantly worried as my mum died of a cancer that they couldn't find it's quite rare.
