Hi I was also told by my gp in December that I would be seen within 2 weeks. After about 10 days I heard nothing so I phoned up and was told due to covid backlogs there was an 8-10 week wait for my local breast clinic. 

2 days later I received a letter saying they could offer me an appointment and I was to call and make one. So I called up and turns out it was for a hospital an hour away taking out patients. So I had no option but to go there, and that was 4 weeks since my gp referral 

I would give it til Monday and call back up and ask if theres any way you could be seen quicker, tell them about your anxiety but tbh I dont know if you will have any luck getting further up the list.
