Hi,
I am a 27 yo male and I've had discomfort under my right rib for around 3 years and it has felt worse than usual over past couple weeks. So worried it is cancer that has grown/spread over those years and now gotten worse. I have been to the doctors a couple of times and had a scan about 3 years ago which was clear.
The discomfort has never gone away but I've learnt to just live with it thinking it can't be that bad if nothing on scan showed. The way I would describe it is a bubble or something stuck under right rib. I can feel something there with my fingers on right side which I can't feel on left side, however the doctor said years ago with was my actual rib more prounounced on right side.
It feels worse with a full stomach or if I'm sat down or bending over. It's not pain as such, more discomfort. I just feel like pulling out whatever is in there!!
The only way I can sleep is on my front as on my side feels like my organs are being squashed together.
The fact it has been so long gave me slight comfort that it's not cancer and I'd have probably been severely ill by now but the fact it's felt more uncomfortable than usual over recent weeks has made me panic again.
Doctor has referred me for another ultrasound due to 3 years that have passed, but I have not had an appointment confirmed yet.
Just really wanted to see if anyone else have had symptoms and a confirmed diagnosis of what it could be? I don't have any other symptoms really other than frequent thirst and urination which has been there for as long as I can remember so not sure if that's related.
Thanks for any replies.
