Hey, 

I am wondering if anyone is through the same wait time as me. I am based in Tayside and went to my doctor on 14th January as I had a swollen armpit and breast pain..I have had it since November and held off to see if it would clear up on its own and it hadn't. She referred me to the breast clinic as an non urgent referral..the last few weeks the swelling has turned into a solid lump and the pain down my breast is constant. I called the gp and she changed the referral to urgent. 
 

I phone the breast clinic and was advised for an urgent referral there is a 15 week waiting list (wow) she advised that it would likely be end of April before I'm seen. 
 

I'm not sure if I can wait that long, anyone else is the same situation? 
 

feeling anxious and deflated. Also feel let down, I appreciate we are in a pandemic, but how can they put people through this. I am only 34 and I know that chances of being diagnosed with cancer are slim for my age but it's the not knowing that is the hardest.
