Following an abnormal smear test (high grade dyskarosis) I had to attend hospital for a colscopy 12 days ago, where they carried out LLETZ to remove the cells as well as a biopsy. I was told of all was well I would receive a letter within 4-6 weeks and I would have to go to my doctors for a smear test in 6 months time.

I have just had a phone call from the hospital asking me to return to "speak with" a consultant in 2 days time. This will be exactly 2 weeks since my colscopy. I'm obviously assuming the worst- I assume being called back for a chat isn't good news, and neither is the fact that it is happening so quickly. It hasn't even been 2 weeks and they have called asking me to return. 
 

Could anyone share their experiences of their return visit with me please? Is it possible that they may just be advising me towards a hysterectomy so that these cells do not keep coming back?
