Removed polyp

Hi I had an appointment for a coil change on Friday at the doctors when I got there and started the nurse noticed a growth polyp ? She called the doctor the doctor managed to remove some of it and think it's been sent for testing it's left me terrified what should I expect has any one got any advice for me please
