Hi, I'm afraid I can't help much with the follow up query! I'm sure it's just to go over the results as standard. 
I would like to ask what made them take a lymph node biopsy? If you don't mind me asking. 
I've recently been having pain and discomfort with my lymph node in my armpit but doctors keep telling me it's this and that and keep an eye on it. Which is frustrating and I feel fobbed off, I don't know why I can feel it or why its causing me issues. But maybe you've gone through something similar that could give me some more info!

Thank you. Sounds similar to me....it was just hurting so I went to the doctors and she rang the breast clinic whilst I was there, she did say she thought it was fine and was probably just a cyst. At the breast clinic the first doctor I saw said he thought it was nothing to worry about....but would just send me for an ultrasound to make sure. The radiologist found 2 swollen lymph nodes, she said when they're swollen they're called reactive....so they took biopsies to find out what they're reacting too.

I would go back to your doctor and ask to be referred to the breast clinic! Hope they refer you and everything goes well :) x

Welcome to our forum. Yes, it is perfectly normal to get an appointment after you have had a biopsy. This normally happens within a week of having the biopsy, although it can take up to 2 weeks in some areas at present due to the current pandemic. Please don't worry about getting this through so quickly. This is just routine and no cause for concern.
