Endometrial thickness 19mm

My story so far

Had scans etc in September 2020 and it showed 19mm thickening. Biopsy was showing no signs of cancer but was showing evidence of polyp. Hysteroscopy couldn't be performed properly due to intensive scar tissue (not sure where from as never had surgery)

October 2020 was phone consultation, choice given to try again as might have been fault with what she called "the telescope" as it was just showing blackness (thus was not the case and I don't know where this info came from), come in and investigate under general anaesthetic (too risky with covid) or another call in 8 weeks to assess bleeding etc. There hadn't been any other bleeding so I went with phone call.

December phone call lead to option of trying hysteroscopy again, this time consultant to do rather than hysteroscopy nurse.

Had that on Tuesday of this week. It wasn't the consultant but she was "sent for" and came in to look. She went to check notes as she was trying to "understand the delay" in getting me back in

2 pots of samples were taken for urgent biopsy and I am now waiting for them to get results as she will then get me back in to discuss the "plan of attack".

Absolutely terrified now - am I jumping the gun or does everything I've described mean its bad news?

I'm 53 with no family history - only had one bleed and wasn't even going to ring doctors.

Would like to know I'd anyone has any advice or experience to share.

Thank you for reading my very long rant x
