OK, so I've posted in here before about this, but I've now had my results.
I'm 33,mum to three. Found a lump before chrisy, but due to having a baby in August and so e placenta being left inside me, I wo dered if it may be hormonal. No change so went to go beginning of Feb, referred 2ww.seen,had ultrasound, two Co sultans and radiologist can feel the lump, but it's not showi v on my ultrasound. So back three days later for core needle biopsy. Hot my results 2w later, which was this Thurs. Dr is concerned, as lump hasn't changed, but biopsy results are clear. Decided will go back for a recheck in 6wks,if any negative changes then will have a open excision.
Today a copy of a letter to my gp arrives, and says that on examination I am presenting with a lump that is likely benign but suspicious of malignancy. It also states "core biopsy result us showing normal breast tissue which does not account for the clinical lesion". The Co sultant also states they don't want to leave it alone without a Co firmed diagnosis.
It then says they will consider a mammogram when I go back in six weeks.
This is dragging on now, and whilst I think it's positive news, I just wondered if anyone had any similar experience, with the no show in the ultrasound, and clear biopsy results,? Thanks
