Hello,
I am 23 y.o male. For past two years, I have noticed 1.3cm nodes throughout my neck. After numerous ct scans, a pet scan, blood work, and nightly low grade fevers, doctors have not been able to figure out what is going on but say that since the nodes haven't grown, I shouldn't worry.
now, for the past three days, out of nowhere I've noticed an extremely painful bone-like lump (size of a flat golf ball or quarter) on my sternum in the middle of my chest. The overlying skin was red and warm, but today is back to normal. However, the lump is under the skin, non movable, and extremely hard and painful. There is no whitehead to indicate it being a cyst. I am waiting to get in to see a doctor but was wondering if anyone has experienced this. I am obviously worried about lymphoma or even breast cancer. Not sure what else could cause this.
