Hi friends,

I had a smear last year which showed I had HPV and a large ectropian. I was referred to Colposcopy and had the ectropian zapped and biopsies were all negative. I had my annual follow up smear two weeks ago and the results came back as High grade moderate dyskaryosis. I'm shocked as it seems so extreme a result in just a year! I'm due a colposcopy but the gynae department have set up a telephone consultation next week. Why would I need one? Last time I just went and had the colposcopy. What's the likely hood of this coming back more severe then anticipated? I have had symptoms but always put it down to other things. Can anyone relate or share their experiences?
