Hi i'm 28 and have an appointment at the breast clinic tomorrow for a lump which I found about a month ago. Its the second time I will have been in 2 years and i'm more worried this time than the last (it doesnt help that we have to go alone does it?!) But I do find some comfort in the fact that they seem to refer all breast problems to the clinic mostly just to give reasurrance to people that its not the worst case.

Lumpy breasts are definitely normal especially in younger women, it sounds like your pain is going away as well so thats reasurring too. 

I am a massive worrier and overthinker but just trying to remember that worrying isn't helpful for anyone and best to just try and wait and see what they say, easier said than done though!

Doesn't help to go alone at all, honestly. 
mum glad the pain has mostly died down but I just have anxiety about things like this & part of me doesn't want to go. I know I should otherwise not knowing will eat at my brain :((

im just glad they gave an appointment quickly & thankful to be seen! What does your lump feel like? Do you feel the same on the other side? Hope it all goes really well for you tomorrow xx

Sounds like we have similar anxieties! You should definitely go, even though its scary it will more than likely put your mind at ease. 

It feels like a small round "movable" (feels like it can be pushed around a bit when you touch it) lump, its not the same on the other side, my right side is way lumpier than the other in general, but this one stands out when I run my fingers across like something that shouldnt be there. It was a similar experience when I found the cyst last time so I'm really hoping its the same again but I guess I will know more tomorrow. 

It is good they get the appointments in quickly, and at least by the end of the week we should both have some answers :) let me know how it goes xx

Hiya thanks for asking it went as good as it possibly could today, I was in and out pretty quickly apparently it is just regular tissue with a bit of a bumpy texture that I was feeling. I feel loads better after having an ultrasound to check it over. 

Fingers crossed for you tomorrow, be brave and try to not worry about things that haven't happened yet :) 

Awww I'm really glad!! Thankfully my underarm pain has subsided and my breast generally feels ok but will still attend for peace of mind haha

Hello! Thank you for thinking of me! It went well! My appointment was at 10:15 and I got there at 9:30 as I took a bus there that got there earlier than expected, and I wasn't seen until after 11 lol but I didn't mind as I wasn't as anxious as I was last time round. If I had to wait that long last time I would've broken down crying from anxiety. I was seen by the same consultant as last time & she said everything felt find and sent me off for an ultrasound for peace of mind. The scan wait wasn't too long this time & my breast and armpit were scanned super happy to say my underarm pain has gone & I hope it never comes back again!! Was so happy to go home as I felt exhausted! Thank you for asking xx
