Breast dimpling, doc then found lump under arm.

Hi,

I am 24 year old female and noticed last night when getting undressed that there was was some weird like indents on my breast. After having a better looK I decided to call docs and get checked as my mum had BC not too long ago, so I'm quite on it checking my boobs. Doc did examination today and confirmed the it was dimpling like and also confirmed there is a solid lump in my arm pit which I hadn't felt. I have been referred to breast clinic and should be seen in next 2 weeks. Just slightly panicking and needed to share to see if anyone had anything similar.

Hello MissJME and welcome to the forum.
I'm sorry about the lump that's been found but try not to panic. I know that's easier said than done but we have many members in a similar position so you're not alone and hopefully some of them will be along soon to offer their support and advice.
In the meantime, I hope this information on what to expect at a breast clinic appointment will help you feel slightly more at ease.

Thank you Steph. The Information you linked has been very helpful. I have my appointment tomorrow morning with the same Doctor who treated my mum so feeling more at ease today!
