Hi I too had a post menopausal bleed. Mines was on 5th Dec and had to wait for urgent referral to bee seen on 11th Jan, 4 weeks ago, gynae consultant/surgeon. At this appointment I had internal examination,  internal ultrasound, a Hysteroscopy and he took biopsy as I have thickening in wall lining.  I found writing on here a help, talking with others in a similar situation to mine.  Until Saturday.  I can't sleep, am having nightmares.  And am a nervous wreck during the day.  I'm in Scotland and we don't have the same waiting times as other places in the UK.  I hope you get on ok at your appointment and you get the answers you need.  At least you will know where you stand very soon.  All the best  Jen
