I’m so relieved to read these posts

All of my smears bar one pre menopause have been incredibly painful 

After a failed one last week , I’m taking Estradiol pessaries but even using that tiny applicator hurts and I’m getting a bit crampy ?   

I’m post menopause (49) and haven’t had sex for about 2 years , I’m dreading going back and think now a referral and sedation may be the only way

    I'm not sure if you've come across this already but Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust has some tips and advice on how to make a screening more comfortable.
