Breast advice please

Hello, yesterday when I took my bra off I noticed my nipple looked open, that's the only way I can describe it, like there was a hole. This might Seem too much information but when the nipple erected it went back to normal, Iv checked a couple of times today and it's done it every time. 3 years ago I was told I had a fibroadenoma on the left side of that breast. I have had a feel and it feels like there is a couple of pea size lumps on the top of the breast, but also on the other breast too. I am due on my period in a few days so I'm hoping this is why. Just a bit worried about my nipple. I will see what my breasts feel like the week after my period but any advice on my nipple? Has anyone experienced this?

    Hi Mumma,

    Although I've had 2 bouts of breast cancer in the past 11 years, my problem has been with lumps and not nipple, so I'm afraid that I cannot answer your question. If this doesn't return to normal after your period, it might be wise to ask your GP's opinion.

    Please let us know what happens. We are always here for you.

    Hello and thankyou for replying to me. I am sorry to hear you have had breast cancer twice. I hope you are ok now. I did look on google which I know I shouldn't have done and actually for the first time I did see somewhere it could be normal, and to try the pinch test to see if the nipple inverts further or protrudes. Mine did not invert anymore so it gives me hope, but even google could be wrong, good or bad. I will definitely wait a week and then if no different I will contact my GP. Thankyou xx
