I'm new here and wondered if anyone could help.

So, basically, I've had bleeding after sex for a while, smelly discharge and lower back pain for 6 weeks.

I had my first smear aged 25, it was abnormal so I needed a biopsy. This was done. Got the app clear. Had a smear every year for 3 years... all were fine.

Had another smear just after having my daughter in 2019 and again this was clear.

I went to see the dr on Tuesday this week for an examination. She said my cervix looked angry and was bleeding throughout the examination, so she said I'll refer you to gynaecology but as an urgent two week appointment.

Obviously my heart sank and am worried what she might be thinking is wrong to refer me so quickly.

I'm having blood tests Monday, full blood count, U&E and LFT. I'm awaiting my gyno appointment but have been told it'll be within two weeks from today.

Anyone else had this happen?

What can I expect from the appointment?

Should I be concerned?
