So about 2 weeks ago I found a lump on the inner side of my knee. I've also been experiencing blood when wiping after number 2 with pain, constipation, some tingling in both heels and very bad sleepiness the past few weeks. I've also just had some lumps on my neck ultrasounded twice this week and they were all normal. I started off last week with a full blood count and to check my thyroid (I have hypothyroidism) which were all fine except my thyroid which is out of whack and I had my dose upped 3 days ago. This morning I went to see a gp privately who felt the lump but said it feels like normal fatty tissue and that to her as a physician, there was no distinct lump. She did a full body exam and checked my bum which had a little redness and pain but no piles and thinks that's where the blood is coming from and that its a fissure. So she has prescribed me some cream and sent me on my way saying that if the lump changes at all or if I start to get pain and don't feel better then to go back. But I'm still scared that this fatigue etc is all related to some sort of cancer like bowel or sarcoma not just my thyroid. Should I get a second opinion from my own gp who has appointments available in 3 weeks if the fatigue etc doesn't improve? I'm a 23 year of girl and Google has scared the daylights out of me with all these stories of young people getting fobbed off with serious symptoms.
