Colonoscopy After Effects & Results

Hi 

so I went for my colonoscopy this morning, I was absolutely terrified and thankfully it wasn't half as bad as I was expecting but also an experience I hope to never have to go through again! 
 

The only problem is I feel like I have literally just taken my laxatives again!! Anything I am eating or drinking I have to sprint to the toilet - is this normal? 
 
Also I wasn't told if my results were clear or unclear just that 10 biopsies had been taken and the results can take up to 6 weeks - anyone else?

    If you have had the joy of Moviprep it will take a bit of time to clear but you should be OK in a couple of days, when they do a colonoscopy they blow air into the bowel to inflate it and get a better image for the visual inspection, this will feel uncomftable but will work it way out over a couple of days. I had 10 Biopsies also (snap) but after the procedure I had a meeting with the Dr and a CNS who told me they I had Bowel cancer as quick as that my world changed.

    Make sure you follow up on the results, make a nuisence of yourself 6 weeks is a maximum time to report back If your not happy with the answer speak to PALS at the hospital do not be fobbed off with the current Corona excuse as these departments are still working.
