Hi, 

okay it's a long one and would appreciate any help here, I found a lump 3 weeks ago did the standard gp appt then waited for the breast clinic 

yesterday I went to the breast clinic appt the doctor gave me a good feel and said nothing at all to worry about your fine but as your here let's scan you, of he went and a lady called me in to have a ultrasound here's where I have no idea as to what happened 

she was chatting away scanning me and said right if you turn on your side and she explained she was doing a biopsy which btw I have no idea what it was so started freaking out she explained what she was going to do and went ahead still I was confused as to why.  
 

during the biopsy she said something went wrong and she had to change the device she was using I said okay I wasn't looking so had no idea what she was using .. when she went back in she said she couldn't go ahead because the blood inside was blocking her view and she kept apologising saying you now have to wait 3 weeks for another biopsy and take time to heel ? She explained that I will he in pain and to rest :s 

that's it she booked an appt and off I went ... only after when I got home I realised I have no idea what happened 

did she pierce a blood vessel ? Did she find something I have no idea 

I feel silly but it all happened so fast I didn't notice and really know what to say 

why did she take a biopsy 

why did the blood fill up so fast 

would they send me home for 3 weeks to heel if they had a feeling something was wrong 

ps - the thing she did a biopsy on wasn't the lump I went in for it was completly different place
