Husband possible cancer return

Hi, my husband found a lump in he's testicles yesterday. The doctors did see him straight away who has referred him for an urgent scan. Hopefully we won't have to wait to long.
If it's bad news then this will be the 3rd time he's suffered with testicular cancer. The last one was 5 years ago.
hes 31 and we have 2 daughters together.
I can't imagine how he's feeling and the anxiety has hit us all. As he's wife I found it so so hard caring for him as he was having chemo once a week before, we had our eldest at the time who was 2 and I worked part time.
With the pandemic I can't help but feel how alone we are going to be. We are trying to stay positive but I guess when you have been through it before you expect the worse.
fingers crossed we hear from the hospital soon. have people had to wait long for scan dates with COVID?

  • Welcome to the Cancer Chat community Katie although I'm very sorry to read what you and your family are going through at the moment.

I can't begin to imagine how tough this must be but we're thinking of you and will have our fingers crossed the lump isn't cancerous.

Due to the pandemic, the waiting times for scans will differ depending on what part of the country you're in but hopefully you're in an area where your husband will be seen soon.

    Kind regards,
