Hi,

I have had a sore throat for nearly 5 weeks now. When it first started felt like was really hurting my ear to and tend to got lot of fullness in ear. And felt like a lump was in ear too. When I look in mouth I can see that where the tonsils were are inflamed and what's really worrying me is it looks like there's an ulcer type sore spot near where my left tonsil is. It's been nearly 5 weeks now so how can it not be bad? My anxiety is sky high. I have an 8 year old girl and 9 months old girl at home that need me but I'm just so depressed and scared. I'm really struggling. I saw ENT last Tuesday and he's sending me for MRI. Don't know why he didn't do camera down throat. He said because I was anxious about COVID and he couldn't see the sore spot but could see the inflamed tissue where tonsils used to be. But the sore spot is definitely there. I can see it but the consultant didn't get close enough. So scared.
