Have been referred for urgent gynae appointment, appointments office say it will be likely in 8 months, is this normal waiting time for urgent appointment?
No. You need to speak to you GP. It maybe the clinic have put you as non urgent or you haven't been sent as an urgent appointment. The hospital rejected my referral for colonoscopy 3 years ago. So went private in the end & glad I did because I did have a 6mm polyp that would have changed over time
