Doctor found a lump in Breast but I can’t feel it

I am 34 and went to my local GP 2 days ago as I had yellow/green bruise that appeared on my Breast. The GP examined me and said he can feel a lump but not on the area where the bruise is but I can not feel the lump!
He has referred me to a breast clinic but the wait is 8-12 weeks at the moment. Myself and partner have decided to pay private and I have an appointment in 2 weeks. It's only been 2 days and I feel I am going out of my mind I can't sleep or eat!

I keep trying to locate the lump but I can't feel it!

has anyone experienced anything like this?

Hello Welshsun and welcome to the forum.
It must be very frustrating not being able to find it yourself but the good thing is your doctor did and it won't be long until you have your appointment.
Waiting for tests is always tough but many of our members have been through this so you're not alone and I'm sure some of them will be along soon to offer their support and advice.
Fingers crossed all goes well and that the lump is no cause for concern.
