Hi, 

My mum is 67, had abdominal pains and was went for an ultrasound. They said she has a grainy liver and a small cyst on her ovary - looks ok but will do quarterly blood tests and scans to monitor. 

shes just had her first blood test results and CA125 was 45 so sending her for a gynaecology referral. She's also got a second UTI in as many months.  Her pain has subsided and they guessed it was a kidney stone that she's passed naturally.

just wondering if anyone has any thoughts or similar experiences and what your outcomes were?
edit** we have no cancer diagnosis at the moment. And I should mention mum had a hysterectomy years ago but they left the ovaries so she would enter a natural menopause.
