Hi all. I had a hysteroscopy where the surgeon removed multiple polyps. The surgeon said he lost count with the number of polyps removed. It was done under GA. 

I was in mild pain for a couple of days after and then I was fine.

5 days after my hysteroscopy my pain restarted. I kept up with my pain killers which helped. No other symptoms.

Day 6 - pain was getting worse.

Day 7 - Doctor gave me two types of antibiotics. I had no other symptoms. 

Day 8-10 pain getting worse. No other symptoms.

Day 11 - today. Pain is there.

I've been reading up online and wondering if it's actually an infection as I don't have other symptoms.

Perhaps one of the polyps is left in my uterus and my uterus is cramping now to get rid of it?

Perhaps one of the polyps was only partially removed?

Has anyone experienced this or can offer any insight?

My period is due in a week. This pain is not like my period pain. I don't usually get period pain until the day before it arrives.

I'm calling my surgeon on Monday to follow up.
