I had a biopsy today

Hi everyone

So a month ago I found a lump in my breast since I've been back and forth to doctors and hospital. Today I had my ultrasound and they found the lump instantly. I looked at it and it was a circle with bumps in it. The doctor then explained that I was about to have a biopsy (my worst nightmare haha)

Anyway I had the biopsy and now have to wait until next week for results. I'm abit scared. She said its a tumour but believes it to be non cancerous but isn't sure. Am I panicked. A tiny bit. I'm 22 years old graduating this year from university and its abit scary having this situation and 5 assignments to do from home at the same time.

  • Hi Annar,

I have just come across your post and wondered how you got on following your biopsy? I am experiencing similar, a painless lump that feels bumpy. To say I'm worried is an understatement! I have my appointment with the clinic on Monday, I'm just about keeping it together.
